Virtual product models
The result of a HELiCON configuration consists in a complete, parameterised product model in ERP, PDM and 3-D CAD that can be used in many different ways:
- The product can be instantly visualised in a photo-realistic manner, i.e. it can be used for sales and marketing purposes even before its actual production.
- The models can be fitted into other drawings where they can be processed further, or can be used for simulation purposes.
- The 3-D models can immediately be used for engineering processes, e.g. for detail designs, production planning, changes according to customer wishes, or subsequent product optimisations.
